Teaching Artist (Seasonal)
We are seeking individuals that are living their full purpose and doing work that they are passionate about. We believe that these types of individuals make for the best type of “teaching artist”. Teaching artists are individuals that have a specific skill set that they have developed and are willing to go teach youth that skill set. We are looking for teaching artists that are creative.
Once we have identified if what you do is in alignment with the interest of our youth or needs of our community, then we incorporate you into our enrichment program. If we do not yet have an enrichment program for what you do, then we work with you to develop a beta program to pilot.

Video Editor (Contracted or As Needed)
Job Description
- receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay
- assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer
- inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronising and storing them into files on the computer
- digitally cutting files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable
- creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages
- reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
Additional tasks may include:
- overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing
- experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements
- writing voiceover/commentary
- suggesting or selecting music.
You may also carry out online editing duties, which involve finalising technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading and colouring and adding special effects.

Cinematographer (Contracted or As Needed)
Job Description
- Interpret instructions given by the director for the required mood, theme and feel
- Relay instructions and describe project-specific demands to the camera operators and production crew
- Manage a crew of up to 500 people
- Advise director on suitable composition and use of lighting, shadow, and fill
- Listen to feedback from the camera operators and decide how to improve their performance
- Work closely with the director to make decisions on aesthetics and visuals and representation

- Thorough understanding of lighting techniques, light colour, shade and manipulation.
- Strong technical knowledge of cameras and the film production process.

Graphic Designer (Contracted or As Needed)
Job Description
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concepts by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Administrative Clerk (Full Time)
Job Description
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Communicate with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, address complaints, explain information, and take orders.
- Operate office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone and voicemail systems, and computers
- Maintain updated systems for filing, inventory, mailing, and databases
- Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence
- Compile and maintain records of office activities and business transactions
- Type, format, proofread and edit documents from notes or dictation
- Prepare meeting agendas; attend meetings to take notes and write minutes
- Manage work schedules, calendars, and appointments
- Obtain information to respond to requests by reviewing files, documents, and records
- Take inventory and order materials, supplies, and services as needed
- Troubleshoot problems that arise with office equipment
- Perform basic bookkeeping and banking transactions, including the collection, counting, and disbursement of money
- Prepare and mail bills, invoices, checks, and contracts.
